A message from the principal...

Dear Johnson Creek Community Members, Families, and Students:

I would like to welcome you to the Johnson Creek Elementary School. This is a new chapter for students as they are beginning their school career, making new friends, and gaining independence. Our jobs as educators is to support students and families as they begin to navigate this new chapter. Positive relationships and communication between students, staff, and families are a key component of student achievement. As we keep our students at the center of what we do, we look forward to building relationships and finding out how to best support each student so that they can be successful.

The Johnson Creek School District maintains small class sizes and focuses on personalized learning. This allows us to teach students at their academic readiness level, rather than grade level. Students are able to learn at their own pace and show mastery at any time during the school year. 

Our students are why we are here and we strive every day to do what is in their best interest. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you in advance for everything you do to support your student both in and out of the classroom. We are fortunate to have families and a community that supports what we do and we look forward to continuing that partnership with all of you. I look forward to working together and seeing the great things this school year will bring.
