Substitute Teaching - Application Process and General Information
Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching with the Johnson Creek School District. Please begin by completing the Instructional Job Application. Once completed, save the document as a PDF.
The following information is also required in digital format:

Three letters of reference

College transcripts for all completed degrees (photocopies acceptable)

Cover letter and resume

Copy of license or license application (please include your DPI file number)
Please attach the documents listed above as well as the completed application in an email and send to:

After you have submitted your application materials, we will begin checking references. Be sure that your resume is current and includes telephone numbers of people we can contact. Once we have decided to include you in the substitute teacher pool, you will be asked to complete the following prior to being entered into the pool:

Criminal background check and fingerprinting

State and Federal tax withholding forms

Verification of Employment Eligibility (I9) form
